The lineup for 2010 has now been confirmed and we're confident that we can offer an excellent range of music this year. We have teamed up with Keep Off The Grass to help organise things and they will be performing twice, including a special sunset set. We have also re-arranged the marquee layout so that the bands are given more prominence and will now play out to those sitting on the grass outside. The specific timings will be confirmed soon.
Thanks to all the bands who contacted us this year. Applications for 2010 are now closed but please contact us again next year when planning for 2011 is underway.
The Clique Affect are currently a cover band playing around the local circuit. They have built up a good following and always provide energetic and entertaining sets. The cover songs are mainly modern music spreading through the indie scene with the odd classic cover thrown in for good measure. The lads are currently set to start writing their own material so look out for original songs in the near future. Unfortunately The Clique Affect have just lost their drummer John Marriot, we would like to wish him all the best in the future and thank him for all his hard work he put in whilst in the band. The Clique Affect will now be looking for another drummer so if you are interested, just drop us a message. -- -TCA- The Clique Affect have now found a new drummer - We would like to welcome a Mr Rob ’gramps’ McGregor.
Back in the early 90's, two halves of the band Relik met each other and became close friends. Pete and Nick & Martin and Sean. Nick went to school behind Pete's house in Cold Ash and then later the same school and college. Martin and Sean grew up round the corner from each other in Kidlington and went to the same schools together too.
Now, many months down the line, Relik have played lots more gigs and have written many more catchy, anthemic songs. Regularly playing around the south of the UK, from London to Reading, Oxford to Cardiff, the performance is growing in strength and the audience in numbers!
With the added advantage of Pete's Dad being the former manager of Stereophonics, it's only a matter of time before this band have a record deal of their own!
Stephen has been writing songs for the past six years and has performed at various acoustic venues in and around London. After a very well-received set at last years event, he returns once again in 2009.
