The lineup for 2010 has now been confirmed and we're confident that we can offer an excellent range of music this year. We have teamed up with Keep Off The Grass to help organise things and they will be performing twice, including a special sunset set. We have also re-arranged the marquee layout so that the bands are given more prominence and will now play out to those sitting on the grass outside. The specific timings will be confirmed soon.
Thanks to all the bands who contacted us this year. Applications for 2010 are now closed but please contact us again next year when planning for 2011 is underway.
The Screenbeats are a longstanding and strangely beguiling four-piece hailing from the Home Counties. Taking inspiration in equal measure from Motown & Northern Soul, The Clash and the Smiths, the result is a sophisticated and unusual slant on indie pop. Throw an infectious melody into the mix and you have the Screenbeat formula that has been winning the band acclaim up and down the country in recent years.
R & M Sound & Light are helping out with the event this year by supplying various pieces of equipment.

Formed through various Open Mic nights in and around Newbury, Parallax finally became a band with the addition of drummer Darren Willmott in March 2010. The following 8 weeks was a flurry of activity for the band which culminated in a second place finish in the Newbury Battle Of The Bands competition. Following up on that success, Parallax have carved out their niche as a powerhouse party band in the local area, playing a mix of covers and their own unique songs, and have even recorded a session for Newbury and Andover Sound. Parallax are a band not to miss.
Idle Words are a chirpy Jazz Duet, based in Berkshire. Their songs are a mixture of mainstream/harlem Jazz from the 30s & 40s and their own very unique sound.
